Subject 203 is a juvenile goblin, approximately two months old at the time of his capture. Born into a brutal goblin tribe that resides in a dark cave system, he is significantly smaller and weaker than his peers. As a result, he is constantly bullied, beaten, and starved by the stronger goblins, forced to survive on scraps or inedible materials like dirt and sticks.
Driven by extreme hunger to venture outside the designated safe zones of his cave, the young goblin is lured into a trap by a human magic-user using a dead rabbit. He is subsequently captured and taken to a sterile laboratory facility. There, the human brands him with the number "203" on his neck, stripping him of any previous identity he might have had within his tribe.
During his captivity, Subject 203 undergoes agonizing surgical procedures and magical experimentation. The human implants a foreign structure into his developing core, which unexpectedly forms a symbiotic relationship with his body. Subject 203 is left strapped to an operating table when a sudden containment breach in sector seven forces his captor to flee.
