We only collect what we need to run the platform, pay authors, and improve the reading and writing experience.

• Account info: email, display name, role (reader or author), and password hash.
• Content: stories, chapters, world entries, comments, and audio you generate.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe — we store identifiers and payout status, never raw card or bank numbers.
• Usage data: pages viewed, chapters unlocked, and basic device / browser info for security and analytics.

We use your information to:

• Provide core features like publishing, reading, audio narration, and coins.
• Process coin purchases and author cashouts through Stripe.
• Keep accounts secure and detect fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
• Improve product quality, performance, and recommendations.
• Send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts, important updates).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your writing to train third-party AI models without your explicit consent.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and measure how the site is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but some features (like staying logged in) may stop working.

Analytics are limited to aggregate, non-identifying metrics where possible.

We store data on reputable infrastructure (Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Stripe) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it to operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your account, we'll notify you and relevant authorities as required by law.

You can, at any time:

• Access and update your account details from settings.
• Unpublish or delete stories, chapters, and world entries you own.
• Request a copy of your personal data or ask us to delete your account.
• Opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live (e.g., EEA, UK, California), you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA. We honor those rights for all users.

IlorisNovel is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app or by email.
