Synopsis

Reo, a prodigious football talent who once represented Japan at the U-14 level, sees the sport as more than just a game—it’s his passion, his form of self-expression, and the path toward his dreams. But when a devastating injury brings his journey to a halt, everything changes. With his parents’ divorce forcing a fresh start, Reo moves with his mother and younger sister away from the city, determined to leave football behind. Unfortunately for him, fate seems to have a sense of humor. Their new home, a small island called Hinami in the Shinrin Archipelago, is absolutely obsessed with football. Before long, Reo finds himself pulled back into the very world he wanted to escape. As the newest member of the Hinami Pirates, he’s thrown into a league where neighboring islands compete for pride, glory, and bragging rights. Can the fallen star rediscover his love for the sport he once cherished, or will football remain a painful reminder of everything he lost?
