A few months later, Marilyn began feeling strangely tired.
David noticed.
“You've been sleeping a lot.”
“I'm just tired.”
“Maybe you should see a doctor.”
Marilyn smiled.
“You're becoming my doctor now?”
“No. I'm an engineer.”
“Then engineer me a solution.”
David laughed.
A week later, Marilyn returned home carrying a small envelope.
She looked nervous.
David noticed immediately.
“What happened?”
She handed him the envelope.
David opened it.
He stared at the result.
Then he looked at Marilyn.
“Are we...?”
She nodded.
David couldn't speak.
He stood up and hugged her.
Their movie had just introduced a new character.
