CHAPTER 10: THE CLIMAX OF TITANS

The impact did not sound like a collision of flesh and steel. It sounded like the tectonic plates of reality snapping in half.

BOOM-KRAKOOM!

A dome of absolute white-hot light obliterated the center of the training grounds, expanding outward with such violent speed that the shockwave ripped across the floor like a blade.

Far back in the observation perimeter, Gohan threw his arms up in front of his face, his boots skidding backward across the fractured stone as the gale-force pressure threatened to sweep him away. Beside him, Jiren didn’t flinch an inch, his heavy stance holding firm against the hurricane, though his dark eyes were wide with rare, undisguised astonishment.

"They've broken past their threshold entirely," Gohan shouted over the deafening roar of ki, his voice strained. "The energy output... it's destabilizing the chamber!"

Jiren watched the blinding epicenter intently. "They are no longer fighting with technique alone. They are fighting with everything they have ever lost, conquered, and survived. Look at Yamoshi."

Through the blinding glare of red, gold, silver, and magenta fire, the ancient god was caught in the middle of a tactical nightmare.

Yamoshi had expected brute force. He had anticipated the wild, unbridled aggression typical of Saiyan bloodlines. But what he faced now was something far more terrifying: two master martial artists who had weaponized their contrasting philosophies into a seamless, synchronized trap.

Vegeta was the anvil.

With Mastered Ultra Ego 3 consuming his body, the Prince of All Saiyans didn't attempt to dodge or parry. He deliberately absorbed the kinetic shockwaves of Yamoshi’s Primordial blasts, letting the pain fuel the hyper-compressed destruction ki inside his veins. Every bruise, every torn muscle fiber, and every drop of spilled blood transformed into raw, unadulterated Hakai energy.

"You want ancient power?!" Vegeta roared, blood streaming from his forehead as he grappled directly with Yamoshi’s arms, locking the ancient god in a vice grip. "I'll give you a taste of oblivion! Take this! Final Cataclysm Strike!"

A point-blank explosion of pure, pitch-black destruction ki detonated right against Yamoshi’s chest. The concussive blast was so severe that Yamoshi’s eyes widened in genuine shock, a sharp gasp escaping his lips as the destructive force ate fiercely into his primordial armor.

"Damn you..." Yamoshi gritted out, his arms straining against Vegeta's iron grip.

And that was the opening Goku had engineered.

While Vegeta served as the immovable anchor, Goku moved with the terrifying, zero-thought fluidity of Mastered Ultra Instinct 3. Having calculated Yamoshi's micro-hesitation down to the millisecond, Goku didn't aim for a brute-force strike. He slipped effortlessly through the backdraft of the explosion like a ghost riding a storm.

His silver-white hair whipped wildly around his face as his palm struck squarely against Yamoshi’s shoulder blade—not with explosive power, but with a precise, vibrating wave of angelic ki designed to disrupt the flow of primordial energy through the ancient god's nervous system.

“Angelic Soul-Shatter Palm!”

The secret technique sent a sharp, freezing jolt racing through Yamoshi’s entire body. For a fraction of a second, the crimson-and-gold Primordial Ki stuttered, flickering violently as Yamoshi’s footing gave way under the sudden loss of inner equilibrium.

Yamoshi stumbled forward, breaking free of Vegeta’s grasp. A low, stunned grunt escaped his lips. They anticipated my defensive rebound... They synchronized destruction and instinct not as separate styles, but as a single organism!

"Got you off balance!" Goku yelled, spinning mid-air with impossible grace.

Using the momentum of the strike, Goku brought his heel down in a devastating axe-kick aimed right at Yamoshi's crown. But Yamoshi was a god of legends for a reason. Even off-balance, the ancient Saiyan twisted his torso with terrifying flexibility, catching Goku’s incoming kick with his bare hand.

The impact cracked the air, sending a secondary shockwave rippling upward. Yamoshi looked up, his metallic gold eyes blazing with a fierce, awakened fire.

"Remarkable!" Yamoshi shouted over the chaos, a wild, exhilarated grin breaking across his face. "To push me—the first Saiyan God—to the defensive! You have rewritten what it means to be a Saiyan!"

Before Goku could retract his leg, Yamoshi channeled a massive surge of Primordial Ki into his grip, throwing Goku violently sideways.

"Kakarot!" Vegeta screamed, abandoning his defensive stance. Enraged and running on pure adrenaline, Vegeta materialized beneath the hurtling Goku, catching his rival by the shoulder and using his momentum to pivot.

"Let's finish this, Kakarot! All or nothing!" Vegeta bellowed.

"Right behind you, Vegeta!" Goku shouted, his silver eyes flashing with absolute clarity.

In a fraction of a second, the two rivals aligned their auras. The blinding silver-white light of Mastered Ultra Instinct 3 and the ferocious magenta-black flames of Mastered Ultra Ego 3 spiraled together into a colossal, twin-colored helix of pure, multiversal-shaking energy.

They threw their hands forward together, unleashing their ultimate, combined barrage.

“Final... Kamehameha—Destruction Overload!”

A beam of catastrophic proportions—swallowing creation and ruin whole, weaving angelic purity with the absolute abyss of Hakai—erupted from their hands. It tore through the white floor of the chamber, vaporizing space itself as it surged straight toward Yamoshi.

The sheer scale of the attack painted the entire chamber in a violent, flashing twilight.

Far back in the safety zone, Gohan gripped his hair in disbelief, his jaw dropping. "That's... that's enough power to erase a solar system a thousand times over! If that hits directly..."

Jiren’s eyes narrowed sharply, a rare drop of sweat rolling down his cheek. "Look at Yamoshi. He isn't running."

In the path of the oncoming doom, Yamoshi stood completely unmoving. He didn't blink. He didn't flinch. Instead, he dropped into a wide, grounded stance, opening his arms wide as if welcoming a tidal wave.

"Show me!" Yamoshi roared, his voice echoing with the authority of a primordial deity. "Show me the absolute peak of your evolution!"

He thrust his hands forward, channeling every ounce of his Primordial Ikari Super Saiyan God form into a single, localized sphere of red-and-gold energy.

“Primordial God Breaker!”

The two colossal attacks collided dead-center.

The resulting explosion didn't make a sound. For three agonizing heartbeats, the entire chamber plunged into an absolute, suffocating silence as light bent inward, creating a miniature singularity of raw kinetic energy.

Gohan and Jiren shielded their eyes as a blinding flash of white swallowed the universe.

When the light finally fractured and faded, a thick, rolling cloud of dust choked the entire arena. The floor was gone, replaced by a massive, deep-set crater that stretched as far as the eye could see.

Silence reclaimed the crucible.

Goku and Vegeta stood shoulder-to-shoulder in the distance, both warriors completely depleted. The brilliant auras around them flickered violently before finally shattering like glass. With a heavy sigh, both Saiyans dropped out of their ultimate transformations, de-transforming back to their base forms as they collapsed to their knees, gasping desperately for air, completely spent.

Through the haze of smoke, a figure slowly stepped forward.

Yamoshi.

His clothes were heavily scorched, and his breathing was visibly heavier than before. A thin line of blood traced down the side of his mouth, and his Primordial God aura had dimmed to a faint, flickering ember.

He looked down at Goku and Vegeta, who were struggling just to keep their heads up.

For a long moment, nobody spoke.

Then, a slow, deeply respectful smile spread across Yamoshi’s face. He let out a low, rumbling laugh that echoed through the quiet ruins of the chamber.

"Magnificent," Yamoshi whispered, his voice laced with profound awe. "You didn't just fight me... you pushed me to boundaries I haven't touched since the dawn of time."

Vegeta slammed his fist weakly against the ash-covered ground, a breathless smirk twisting his lips. "Damn it... still... couldn't beat you."

Goku fell backward onto his back, staring up at the distant, hazy white ceiling, a wide, exhausted grin plastered across his face. "Yeah... but man... that was fun."

Gohan and Jiren slowly approached the exhausted pair, relief washing over their expressions. The two days of training were over. The trials of the crucible had reached their absolute end.

And as the heavy doors of the chamber began to groan open from the outside, signaling the arrival of the Elder God Tournament, the five warriors knew one thing with absolute certainty:

They were ready for whatever horrors the multiverse had waiting for them.
