Chapter 5: C.S Academy of the Angelos District.

Claude continued deeper into the intricately built city cutting corners

and going through alleyways bumping into individuals that looked like they

were up to no good until he ended up on the cobblestone path that led to the

C.S Academy.

He could see students ahead of him all heading into the cathedral-like

building goofing around and migrating to their usual cliques as they got

closer to the entryway.

Seeing this always made Claude wonder how students did it, how they

spoke in large groups to multiple people or expressed personal feelings to

love interests, really just all social encounters on that level seemed tiring

and downright scary to Claude as he watched students socialize with

relative ease.

***

He entered the building with enough time to take in the high class

design of it, the building was absolutely beautiful, the walls were spotless

and had art of famous tangent battles on them and the incredibly high

ceiling boasted flashy chandeliers every few feet that seemed to give the

dark marble floor an ethereal gleam. Claude stopped to look at his favorite depiction of a Tangent battle, the

name of the gothic style framed piece was, "Pure Dominance".

The piece was of a famous hero named The Dominator, she wore her

trademark black buckhorn helm and matching skintight light armor with her

famous bladed whip, Aggressors Wrath.

The art was a side shot of her standing over a low level Demon Lord

who looked like he was smashed into his seat and behind her were what

looked like hundreds of low level Demons all mangled and butchered

across the rocky stone floor of the Tangent.

Claude liked this picture for more reasons than one, but one of the

reasons he liked it most is because it put him at ease, knowing that someone

could get this strong alone was calming in a sense to him.

He also liked this picture because it was a statement, this was the fight

when she let the world know exactly who she was. Before this not many

people spoke or knew about her, Claude only knew because his father told

him about a woman he worked with who was singlehandedly decimating

Monsters in Tangents with relative ease, she even saved Claudes father

during that Tangent run. After that battle everyone knew exactly who and

what she was, as the depiction of the battle states the battle was a show of

pure domination.

While Claude was admiring the art he felt another body collide with his

sending him face first into the art piece resulting in a loud SMACK. Claude could hear a familiar voice that reminded him of nails on a chalk

board say in a smug tone, "Sorry Claude, Samuel pushed me and I didn't see

you there."

***

Samuel and Tai are the top prospects of this academy expecting a

Rebirth at age 15 which is very impressive. These two are the twin sons of

Marshall Leon who is the leader of the Onslaught Guild which is one of the

top three guilds in the world. The twins seem to have no problem boasting

their inherited status with their flashy armor and weapons, and due to their

boyish regal features they look like young princes, too bad their

personalities aren't as regal as their looks.

***

"You guys are so damn corny, come on now, you didn't see me? Like I

wasn't here for the past ten minutes?"

Before Claude even finished his aggravated response the twins were

already down the hall. Samuels wide muscled frame and Tai's long and

slender build were both blotted out by the large crowd of attractive young

women in their wake.

"I swear to god I hate ladies men."

Claude picked himself up off the ground and headed to his Creature

Studies and Preparations class, one of his favorites.
