Chapter 1

Amira Shara never imagined that the last day of her engagement would become the most devastating day of her life.

One day before her wedding, she went to Erick's apartment to surprise him. A simple white dress hung from her hand, and a bright hope shone in her smile until her eyes caught sight of something she had never imagined.

Erick stood in front of the bedroom, half-naked, holding a young woman with long hair whom Amira had never seen before. Their passionate kisses, soft moans, and intimate laughter could be heard clearly from behind the wall.

Amira stood frozen.

Her breath caught in her throat, and her eyes widened in disbelief.

"Miranda... not so loud. I'm getting married tomorrow."

"That's why I have to be the last one tonight, darling."

Amira's body trembled. The dress in her hand slipped to the floor.

Without saying a word, she ran out.

Rain began to pour, soaking her body, but nothing could feel colder than the heart that had just been shattered.

That night, a violent storm raged across the sky. Thunder echoed overhead, but Amira didn't care.

She walked into a nightclub, headed straight for the bar, and ordered drink after drink without stopping. Vodka, gin, whiskey she swallowed them one after another.

Her head began to spin, but her heart was far more chaotic than the effects of alcohol.

A strange man sat beside her.

His hair was tousled in a casual style, and the top button of his black shirt was undone, revealing a glimpse of his broad chest. He said nothing, only offering her a faint smile that, for some reason, caught her attention.

Amira looked at him and gave him a faint smile.

"I want this night to end. I want to forget everything."

The man slowly nodded and held out his hand.

"Oliver."

Amira shook his hand.

"Amira."

There was no long conversation.

Their bodies spoke before their words ever could.

The hotel room was dark and cold.

Their clothes were scattered across the floor. Amira lay naked on the bed, with Oliver above her, staring at her in silence.

A passionate kiss immediately met her lips.

Oliver's hands moved over her body, touching her gently but intensely. Amira could only moan softly, making no attempt to stop him. Instead, she pulled him closer, allowing him to touch and explore her body.

Oliver lowered his head, kissing her neck before moving lower. Amira writhed beneath him, unable to endure the intensity of her emotions.

"Do it... faster. I can't take it anymore," Amira whispered breathlessly.

Oliver did not hesitate.

He took her completely, and Amira cried out softly, her body arching beneath him. She surrendered herself entirely, allowing the stranger to take control.

Their movements grew faster and more intense. The sound of their breaths and the creaking of the bed filled the small room.

Amira dug her nails into Oliver's back, asking for more.

They lost themselves in the moment again and again, until Amira's body grew weak and her breath was completely spent.

She didn't care who the man was.

All she knew was that, that night, she felt wanted.

And for her, that was enough.

The next morning, Amira woke with a pounding headache and an aching body.

A thin blanket covered her naked body.

She looked to the side.

The place beside her was empty.

Oliver was gone.

When she looked at her own body and saw the red marks on her chest and thighs, the traces of kisses and scratches still visible, Amira let out a scream.

She clutched her throbbing head.

"What have I done...?"

But what hurt the most wasn't only the loss of her dignity.

She didn't even know who the man was.

And now, her body was no longer the same.

One night.

One stranger.

And one mistake that would haunt her forever.

Amira returned home when the sun was already high in the sky.

Her hair was a mess, her face was pale, and her body still felt sticky with sweat and carried the lingering scent of the strange man who had possessed her the night before.

Her steps were heavy, but she forced herself forward.

The club dress she had worn the previous night was wrinkled. Several red marks were still visible across her chest and thighs.

She hoped the house would be empty.

She hoped she could go straight to her room without being seen by anyone.

But her prayers went unanswered.

Erick was sitting in the living room, calm and relaxed, a cup of coffee in his hand.

He immediately stood when he saw Amira enter.

"Amira... where have you been all night?" he asked, as though nothing had happened.

Amira stood in the doorway, staring at the man she had seen making out with another woman the day before.

Her eyes were red, but not because she was drunk.

They were filled with anger and a pain too deep to put into words.

"You still have the nerve to sit here?"

Erick raised an eyebrow, pretending to be confused.

"What do you mean?"

Amira gave him a bitter smile.

"I saw you with that woman. In your bedroom. Do you think I'm blind?"

Erick didn't answer.

He simply remained silent, and his silence made Amira feel even more disgusted.

She quickly walked past him and went upstairs without saying another word.

Tears were already gathering in the corners of her eyes, but she refused to let them fall.

She entered her room, locked the door, and collapsed onto the floor.

Her tears finally burst free.

Amira knew... her life would never be the same again.

Especially after that crazy night.

After her body had been taken by a stranger.

And after she realized one terrifying truth she was late.
