Chapter 21 — The Battle Between God Killers
The ambient starlight of Elder God Hera’s sanctuary fractured into jagged shards of violet and black as Gogeta’s declaration hung in the vacuum. There was no hesitation, no preamble, and no room for debate. The rules of alignment evaporated in a single heartbeat, replaced by the primitive, brutal logic of raw supremacy.
"Try to dodge this, fool!" Gogeta roared, a manic, ecstatic thrill distorting his features as he caught sight of the ultimate prize standing right before him.
Before the echoes could fade, Gogeta vanished. Space itself tore open in his wake, a kinetic shockwave rippling outward as he closed the distance with terrifying velocity. His target was immediate: God Killer Goku.
Goku’s crimson eyes narrowed, his cold expression unyielding. Though his bloodlust had cooled into a heavy, remorseful burden, the warrior instinct remained razor-sharp. Drawing upon his unique, corrupted mastery of Ultra Instinct seamlessly fused with the dense, suffocating pressure of God of Destruction ki, Goku raised his forearms just in time. Gogeta’s fist crashed against his defense with the force of a collapsing star.
"Is that all your precious ultra instinct can muster, Kakarot?!" Gogeta sneered, leaning into the pressure with a sadistic, fanatical grin, treating the clash not as a fight, but as a religious ecstasy.
"You talk too much for a copy," Goku murmured, his voice dropping into a flat, deadly monotone as his crimson eyes flared with a lethal intensity. "If you think raw noise makes you a god, let me show you what real silence feels like."
With a sudden, violent expansion of divine destruction ki, Goku shoved the fused warrior back, the sheer shockwave cracking the ancient, celestial pillars lining the sanctuary. The force sent Goku skidding across the polished floor, his boots carving deep trenches into the stone, his breath hitching as phantom pain rippled through his muscles.
Gogeta didn't pause to admire his work. There was no mercy in the chaos, no breathing room for a counterattack. In less than a fraction of a second, his form blurred again, reappearing directly in the blind spot of God Killer Vegeta.
Vegeta's dark eyes flared, a fierce, unyielding ambition twisting on his lips. Having left Earth behind long ago, his ruthlessness had no soft edges left. "Hmph. You think your fusion makes you untouchable, clown?" Vegeta barked, raising his guard, but he was half a heartbeat too slow against Gogeta's terrifying speed.
Gogeta pivoted on his heel, driving a straight, devastating kick directly into Vegeta’s midsection. "Too slow, Prince," Gogeta whispered right before impact.
The hit was sickeningly brutal, a dull concussive boom echoing through the hall as the wind was violently expelled from Vegeta's lungs. The Prince of all Saiyans was launched backward like a cannonball, crashing hard through a decorative archway before collapsing onto the rubble, his aura flickering violently.
It was unapologetically one-sided, a relentless display of dominance that left no room for error.
Without breaking his momentum, Gogeta shifted his terrifying gaze toward God Killer Gohan, who had barely managed to steady his stance, his eyes burning with protective, menacing fury at the threat posed to the cosmic order. "You're next," Gogeta whispered, closing the distance like an executioner.
"I'll rip you apart!" Gohan snarled, but the warning came too late.
That single strike broke the remaining constraints of teamwork. The sanctuary erupted into an all-out war. All allegiances dissolved instantly into ash; it was no longer Elder God Hera’s elite force against an outsider, but a vicious, unyielding free-for-all where every warrior fought solely for himself.
"Pathetic," Gohan roared, unleashing a torrent of dark, latent energy to counter the assault, while Vegeta staggered back to his feet, blood dripping from his chin, his face contorted into a mask of pure, unbridled fury. "I'll grind you to dust, Gogeta!" Vegeta bellowed, charging back into the fray with a suicidal ferocity born of absolute pride.
Goku vanished into a streak of violet-silver light, re-emerging right beside Gogeta. "Your technique is sloppy," Goku stated coldly, his fist driving straight into Gogeta's ribs with bone-shattering force.
"Hah! Yes! Give me more!" Gogeta laughed maniacally, blood spraying from his lip as he took the hit head-on, immediately retaliating with a jagged elbow strike straight to Goku's jaw.
The sanctuary transformed into a hellscape of colliding dimensions. Blow traded for blow, shockwave for shockwave, the sheer output of divine eradication energy warped the fabric of the starlit domain. Hours bled into one another, measured not by time, but by the mounting destruction and the heavy, ragged breaths of the combatants.
Silence eventually began to reclaim the fractured arena, heavy and oppressive.
Hours passed, leaving the vast hall scarred and smoking. At the center of the devastation stood Gogeta, his chest heaving, his fused form battered with minor fractures, and God Killer Goku, standing a few paces away, his violet-silver hair disheveled and his crimson eyes burning with cold, unyielding defiance, both of them only slightly injured.
"Not bad... for a fusion," Goku muttered, spitting a drop of crimson onto the shattered floor.
"Keep telling yourself that, Kakarot," Gogeta wheezed, a bloodied, ecstatic grin stretching across his face.
All around them, the rest of the elite—Vegeta, Gohan, and the others—were down on their knees, completely drained of energy, their auras extinguished as they struggled against the sheer gravitational weight of the victor's pressure. The hierarchy had been violently established, written in blood and raw power across the ruins of the sanctuary.
