CHAPTER 7: THE CLASH OF DIFFERENT PATHS OF POWER

The silence of the crucible shattered.

Gohan and Jiren retreated into the shadows of the vast white plain, their boots sliding backward across the dust as they surrendered the center stage to the titans. They stood side by side, arms crossed, their eyes locked on the storm about to break. It wasn't a retreat out of fear, but the cold calculation of warriors who knew better than to stand in the path of a collapsing star.

"Keep your distance," Jiren muttered, his deep voice barely carrying over the escalating pressure. "The density of their ki alone will tear the air apart."

Gohan didn't answer. His eyes were fixed entirely on his father and the ancient god. "They aren't holding anything back. Not an ounce."

Yamoshi stood unmoving in the center, his gaze fixed on the two modern Saiyans who dared challenge the dawn of their own bloodline. The wind whipped at his tunic, yet he didn't blink.

"Show me the result of your training," Yamoshi commanded, his voice carrying the deep, gravitational pull of a forgotten age. "Show me if your mortal decades have truly bridged the chasm between eras."

Vegeta stopped waiting. He didn't answer with words.

A low, subterranean rumble tore from the depths of his chest, escalating instantly into a feral, earth-shaking scream that tore at the eardrums. The white floor beneath him didn't just crack—it atomized into fine powder. A blinding torrent of magenta, ink-black destruction energy violently ruptured outward, wrapping around his frame like a shroud of liquid night.

"You want to see the result?" Vegeta snarled, his voice distorted by the raw, grinding weight of Hakai energy. "I'll show you what a true god of destruction looks like!"

The transformation was horrific and magnificent. His eyes snapped open, blazing with a terrifying magenta light while the sclera turned completely pitch black. Veins bulged violently across his temples and neck as his hair rapidly lengthened, spiking wildly backward and defying gravity with a primal, untamed fury.

Mastered Ultra Ego 3.

The sheer concussive pressure of the form slammed against the chamber walls like a physical wall of lead. Gohan flinched, a cold sweat breaking out on his neck. "Incredible... the destruction energy isn't leaking anymore. He's keeping it entirely compressed inside his body."

Jiren’s eyes narrowed at the density of the ki. "He has turned his own flesh into a weapon of absolute ruin."

Not to be outdone, Goku stepped forward, his expression draining of all warmth until it was as cold and blank as a winter sky.

He didn't hesitate. With a fierce roar that vibrated through the marrow of everyone present, Goku unleashed his own absolute limit. A blinding pillar of celestial light erupted into the heavens, washing the chamber in a sterile, silver glow.

"Yamoshi," Goku said, his voice completely devoid of human inflection yet piercingly clear. "You wanted the peak of angelic technique. I hope you're ready."

His hair flashed silver-white, then violently cascaded outward, growing longer and wilder while still maintaining the absolute divine precision of the state. His eyebrows vanished entirely, wiped clean by the sheer purity of the transformation. Veins thrummed at his temples as he pushed the celestial pressure to its absolute breaking point. When he finally stood straight, shrouded in a crackling, hyper-dense aura of silver energy, the air around him hummed with absolute detachment.

Mastered Ultra Instinct 3.

Godhood and destruction, standing shoulder-to-shoulder, blazing with power that defied the natural order of the multiverse.

Yamoshi felt the terrifying weight of their combined presences wash over him, pressing his clothing flat against his frame. A faint, knowing smile touched his lips, though his eyes remained sharp as glass.

"Not bad," the ancient god murmured, his voice cutting cleanly through the roaring gale of their auras. "Saiyans capable of using angel power and destroyer power at this level side by side... truly remarkable. In any other era, your names would be sung as the absolute pinnacle of creation."

He paused, his smile widening into something sharp and absolute, carrying the chill of a forgotten grave.

"Too bad I am far above that. I am a Primordial God."

Yamoshi threw back his head and screamed.

The entire training chamber convulsed, the infinite white horizons warping and groaning as if reality itself were tearing at the seams. The shift in the air was suffocating; a strange, ancient, pre-universal energy surged from the core of Yamoshi's being, heavier, darker, and infinitely older than anything the modern gods had ever touched.

Vegeta's teeth gritted so hard they nearly cracked. What is this ki? It doesn't feel like god ki... it feels like the universe before it even had a name!

Goku’s silver eyes locked onto the ancient warrior, his body reacting instinctively to the incoming storm. "He's not just powerful... he's rewriting the atmosphere around us!"

Yamoshi's eyebrows vanished completely. His hair erupted into a brilliant crimson red, save for two distinct strands that shifted into a solid, metallic gold, catching the light like liquid fire. His eyes flared, the irises turning a matching metallic gold while the sclera blackened into a void of absolute night.

"Witness," Yamoshi whispered, a feral, terrifying grin splitting his face as he locked eyes with the two peaks of modern evolution, "the Primordial Ikari Super Saiyan God form."

The shockwave of the transformation detonated outward, driving a massive trench into the floor between them.

Vegeta dropped low into his fighting stance, the magenta flames of Ultra Ego licking at his cheeks. "Talk is cheap, ancient one! Let's see if that ancient blood of yours can handle a mortal's wrath!"

Goku slipped into his stance, every muscle relaxed yet coiled with lethal potential. "Don't blink, Yamoshi. We're coming!"

And with a simultaneous explosion of movement, the battle of the century tore open the silence of the chamber.
