Trapped in Lucas's hell

Erskineville, Australia

6:40pm.

Olivia stood by the bedroom window, staring into the busy street, thinking of a possible way to stop her Billionaire husband, Lucas Parker, from constantly hurting her.

They've been married for almost a year but all she got in return for being loyal were severe beating and being raped!

Olivia wiped her tears and glanced at the bedroom door. She needs to leave.

That thought had been running through her mind for months, but tonight, it felt stronger than ever.

She couldn't spend another night in this house as she was going through anything that's worst than hell... But she was afraid because she knew her husband was a beast and would find her anywhere. Lucas always got what he wanted.

As Olivia tried to summon enough courage, she walked to the wardrobe and pulled out a small handbag. Her hands trembled as she checked what was inside. There were money, passport, and a spare phone.

She had secretly collected them over the past few months. It wasn't much, but it was enough to give her a chance, a chance was all she needed.

She glanced at the wall clock and sighed hopefully. There was enough time to pack and leave before Lucas gets back. But the moment she started removing her clothes from the wardrobe, the bedroom door opened revealing Lucas.

Olivia's heart stopped for a second like she'd seen a ghost.

Lucas walked in and shut the door behind him. His shirt was partly unbuttoned, and the smell of alcohol followed him. Slowly, he walked towards Olivia, staring at her with lustful eyes.

"You... You are back so early." Olivia managed to say in shaky voice but Lucas ignored.

"What do you look so tensed? What were you doing, huh?" He asked, as his eyes swept everything around her.

"It's... it's nothing." She stammered

Lucas scoffed. "I'm certain you know what I despise the most, Olivia. Being lied to."

"I ain't lying to you. I was just putting my things in order."

He headed toward the mini wine bar and poured himself a whiskey. "Why aren't you asleep yet?"

"I couldn't sleep."

He stared at her for a brief moment. "Well, you already know what time it is."

"Lucas, please." Olivia's voice trembled.

But Lucas ignored her as he gulped the whole glass down his throat.

"Take off your clothes." He blurted.

Olivia didn't move, just fidgeting nervously in one spot.

Lucas's expression hardened. "Do I need to use a megaphone before you can hear me? I said, take off your clothes, now!" He fired.

"I'm not feeling too strong today, please Lucas, can we do this tomo...?"

Before Olivia could complete her statement, Lucas landed a slap on her face which made her stumble and grab her cheek.

"You don't tell me what to do when I am in desperate need of your body. Now for the very last time," he motioned his finger towards her body "your fucking clothes!"

Without another word from Olivia, she gently took off her nighties and was standing in just lingering the next second. Her body had marks and bruises that weren't healed up.

Lucas rushed her like a hungry lion and began kissing on her cleavages, running his fingers on her bruised thighs.

"Please... Stop, you are hurting me"

She cried.

But Lucas hits her again and she landed heavily on the bed. He forcefully got on top of her and the next few moments became a blur of fear, pain, and tears.

Later, Olivia lay on the edge of the bed, sobbing and staring at the wall.

Bill sat beside her, breathing heavily and rubbing his temples.

"I'm sorry." he said.

Sorry? He knows for sure that wouldn't make up for what he did to her.

She remained silent.

Lucas got up and stepped into the bathroom, the door closed.

Olivia didn't wait any second. She tried move out of the bed but the pain she was feeling was too unbearable. She looked at her body one last time, she couldn't take this anymore and this was the perfect time to act.

She pushed herself up quickly, got into her nighties and packed few things into a luggage.

Her escape plan was still possible.

She grabbed the luggage and walked towards the bedroom door.

Just as her fingers touched the knob, Lucas's voice came immediately from inside the bathroom.

"Olivia, get me a towel. I forgot to grab one before heading into the bathroom."

Her eyes widened in shock. Then she turned to see if Lucas was coming before tiptoeing out of the room, locking the door from the outside.

"Olivia! Why aren't you answering? Are you there?"

Olivia walked out of the mansion in a haste before the servant could even see her. She came down to the mildly busy street and waved down a cab as she got in.

"Please take me to Winifred hotels and suites." Olivia said breathlessly.

The cab driver nodded and drove off.

Olivia leaned against the back seat, finally allowing herself to breathe.

They had driven for almost twenty minutes when the cab suddenly slowed down and pulled over.

Olivia frowned. "Why did you stop Sir? Is the engine faulty?"

The driver ignored her and stepped out of the car. He leaned against the door and pulled out his phone.

Olivia wound down the glass, looking out. "What are you doing?" She asked, her voice rising.

The driver dialed a number and the person answered on the second ring.

"She's here with me," he said. "She was heading to Winifred Hotel."

Olivia's eyes widened. "What?"

She quickly opened the door and stepped out.

"Who are you talking to? I could sue you for this, you know?"

Olivia had no idea that the driver already knew who she was and that Lucas had instructed him to capture her.

The driver ended the call and looked sideways at her. "I'm sorry ma'am, but I'm only doing my job. So do me a favor and get back inside."

"Your job? Did my husband send you?"

"Ma'am, you heard me. Just get back inside."

Olivia shook her head and stepped away.

"I knew it," Olivia anxiously ran her fingers through her hair. "That monster!"

The driver moved toward her. "Just get..."

"Stay away from me!"

Olivia's voice caught the attention of a young guy walking nearby.

He stopped and looked in their direction as he head towards them. "Excuse me," he called. "Is there a problem?"

Olivia immediately rushed him. "Please, save me! I don't want to go back to that house." She cried.

The stranger looked from Olivia to the cab driver. "Why are you harassing her?"

The driver scoffed. "Hey, who the hell are you? You have no business here."

The stranger stepped closer to the driver. "She said she doesn't want to go with you. Why do you keep forcing her?" The stranger's expression switched.

"Mind your own business, young man."

The driver reached for Olivia, but the stranger shoved his hand away. "Don't touch her."

The driver swung at him but the stranger dodged and punched him hard on the face which made the driver stagger backward and fall against his cab, holding his face in pain.

"C'mon, let's get you out of here." The stranger grabbed her wrist and they ran off.

Few minutes later, a black car stopped beside the cab. Lucas stepped out with Philip, his heavily built bodyguard.

Lucas walked toward the cab driver who was still holding his bruised face. "Where did she go?"

The cab driver pointed at the direction the victims took. "She... she ran off with a stranger."

Lucas's clenched his jaw and fist. "You couldn't do one simple job."

"I'm sorry, sir."

Lucas turned to his bodyguard. "Philip!"

"Yes, sir?"

"Find her."

Philip nodded.

"And make sure the stranger doesn't make it out alive."

Philip immediately took off after them.

* * *

The victims had barely gone a short distance when Olivia looked back at him. "Thank you."

They sat on a pavement of an old abandoned building, covered with several tall trees. It felt safe at least.

The guy glanced at her. "Are you hurt?"

She shook her head. "I feel much better now that I've been rescued," she stretched her right arm for a handshake, smiling faintly. "I'm Olivia."

The guy returned the handshake and smiled back. "Call me Austin, and I wouldn't want to miss the chance to tell you how beautiful you are tonight."

Olivia smile broadened as their eyes locked for a moment. Lucas had never looked at her that way. Something about the way he looked at her made her heart skip and for the first time that night, she felt safe.

But the feeling didn't last because Olivia suddenly spotted Philip from a distance and the smile she had been wearing completely vanished. "That's him."

Austin looked at her. "Who?"

"My husband's bodyguard. My husband must be somewhere around looking for me." Her voice sank into a nervous whisper as she grabbed his arm. "You need to leave right now or he'll kill you."

"What about you?"

"Don't worry about me, just leave!"

Austin shook his head quickly. "I'm not leaving without you."

"You don't understand!" Olivia looked at the direction Philip was coming from. He was close but still searching for them. "My husband's a monster and trust me, he's not gonna spare your life the moment he sees you with me."

"Listen, Olivia. I don't care what your husband is like, all I know is that I'm not leaving here without you, okay? He took her hand. "Come on."

They ran.

Philip spotted them immediately. "Hey! Stop right there!" He chased after them.

Austin pulled Olivia along, but Philip was faster. Within seconds, he caught up and grabbed Austin by the shoulder.

Austin turned and threw a punch, Philip blocked it and struck him hard instead.

"Austin!" Olivia screamed.

Austin tried to fight back, but Philip overpowered him and knocked him to the ground.

"Stop! Please!" Olivia ran toward them. "Don't hurt him! It was all my fault."

Philip punched Austin hard several times and shot him on the head until he fell flat in cold blood.

Olivia fell to her knees beside him, crying. "Please wake up!"

Philip grabbed her and lifted her over his shoulder before she could even touch him.

"Let me go!" She struggled desperately. "Austin!" Her voice broke as she watched him lying motionless on the ground.

Philip carried her away while she continued screaming Austin's name.

And somewhere behind them, Lucas was already waiting for his wife to be brought back home.
