LIFT #1: Trapped
Sunday morning. The sky was a little overcast, and a light drizzle tapped against the windows of the house. The cool air made it hard to get out of bed. It felt so good just lying there, arms wrapped around a body pillow. Both feet shifted lazily across the smooth sheets that had soaked up the chill in the air. The bedroom door opened quietly. Soft footsteps approached the bed and stopped right beside it.
“Win! Get up, Win!” a girl called softly, shaking his body.
“Ngghh… what’s up, Len? I still wanna sleep… hoaaammm…” the guy mumbled, still half-asleep and yawning.
“Come with me!” she said.
“Haamm… come with you where… haamm…” he asked, yawning again.
“Come with me to the office,” she answered, shaking him some more.
“Ngghh, what for? It’s Sunday. Tomorrow… I’m still sleepy. I just went to bed after playing Fortnite,” he muttered, eyes still closed.
The girl stopped shaking him, pulled out her phone, and started dialing their mom’s number. The guy’s eyes shot open the second he heard the dial tone. He turned toward her fast.
“What the hell are you doing?” he asked, startled.
“Just gonna tell Mom you were watching porn earlier,” she said, putting the phone to her ear.
“Shit! Len, I was only kidding! I’m going to take a shower right now!” He scrambled out of bed and headed straight for the bathroom to get ready. The girl smiled and lowered the phone. She hadn’t actually called anyone.
The guy’s name was Edwin. He was twenty-six, unemployed, and spent most of his allowance on online games. He had a stepsister named Lenny, twenty-four, who worked an office job at a private food company in Jakarta. Lenny had fair, bright skin, long jet-black hair that reached her back with a middle part, and stood about 165 cm tall. Her body was a little on the chubby side, with fairly full breasts, a soft waist, and a butt that wasn’t huge but nicely rounded. Both of them were of Chinese-Indonesian descent, and they always called each other by name instead of big brother or little sister. Today Lenny was wearing a plain white short-sleeve T-shirt, white shorts with a zipper that showed off her smooth thighs, and simple black flip-flops. The look was casual, but it ended up looking sexy without her even trying.
Ten minutes later Edwin came out of the bathroom, already in casual clothes, ready to go with Lenny to the office.
“Hey, you said you wanted me to take you to the office. How come you’re not ready yet? Changed your mind?” Edwin asked, sounding annoyed but still affectionate underneath.
“Yeah, yeah, so naggy. I’m looking for my office keys,” Lenny answered, rummaging through her work bag. Lenny was pretty, curvy, smart, and usually quick on her feet. But sometimes when she had free time and forgot something, she got restless and clumsy. Especially in front of coworkers—she’d immediately put on the professional image and act all proper.
“Aren’t these the keys?” Edwin asked, holding up a set with a little duck keychain dangling from one finger. Lenny looked over and saw him spinning the keys around.
“Y-yeah, those,” she said loudly, then started stuffing everything she’d pulled out back into the bag. After that she walked over to him quickly.
“Len, you sure you’re okay going out like that?” Edwin asked, pointing at her T-shirt.
“Come on, Win. I’m just grabbing some stuff. Just shut up and drive me. Keep talking and I’m not treating you to food,” Lenny said, loud and rough.
“Yeeeah! Free food!” Edwin cheered proudly as he headed out of the house toward the car. Lenny followed, lips pressed to the side and eyes rolling.
They arrived at the parking lot of a tall building, got out of the car, and walked into the lobby. A female security guard with short hair stood out front.
“Good morning! Coming to the office on a Sunday, miss?” the guard greeted them politely.
“Yes, ma’am. I left some work unfinished. And this is my brother—he’s just coming with me,” Lenny answered with a soft smile. The guard greeted Edwin too, and he nodded back with a smile.
“Please go ahead, miss. The rear elevator is still working,” the guard said, letting them in.
“Thank you, ma’am. Sorry to bother you,” Lenny replied politely as they walked toward the back of the building.
“No problem at all,” the guard answered with a smile. Edwin found it a little funny watching his stepsister, who always talked so roughly, suddenly put on that sweet, fake smile. Lenny shot him a quick, sharp look.
“N-nothing, hehehe…” Edwin said nervously, waving a hand and laughing a little. Once they were inside the elevator at the back of the building, Lenny told Edwin to press the button for the 17th floor. The doors closed and the elevator started rising slowly.
A few seconds later the elevator suddenly made a sound like metal scraping. It shook hard, the lights flickered, and it stopped somewhere between the 8th and 9th floors. The lights went out completely. The air conditioning died. Then the emergency light kicked on.
“What the hell is this?” Lenny shouted, her voice echoing inside the small elevator.
“Relax, Len. Maybe just a power outage. There’s an emergency call button. Wait…” Edwin said calmly, reaching for the button. He pressed it. Nothing happened. He kept pressing it over and over. Still nothing—no sound, no light. Lenny hurriedly pulled out her phone and tried calling the security guard downstairs.
“No signal. No network at all,” she said, panicking.
“I’ve got nothing either. Zero bars,” Edwin said, surprised but not as panicked as Lenny.
“Len, let’s just wait a bit. Maybe they’re doing maintenance or the power quota ran out. It’ll probably come back on soon.”
One hour passed. The elevator still hadn’t moved. They’d been standing inside the metal box, yelling for help, but nothing. The air was starting to feel stuffy. Lenny leaned against the mirrored wall. Her white T-shirt was beginning to stick to her skin from the sweat, the neckline dipping lower until the white of her bra showed. Then she sat down with her knees bent, making her shorts ride up and clearly showing her smooth, pale, plump thighs. Edwin stood across from her, leaning against the opposite wall and looking at her. He tried to keep some distance even though the elevator was only about two meters across.
Hour after hour went by. The elevator still wouldn’t move, and no help came. Their phones still had no signal no matter how many times they pounded on the doors or walls. The air grew thicker and the oxygen thinner. Lenny was sweating so much that her white T-shirt was soaked through and turning transparent. She fanned herself with her hand, kicked off her flip-flops, and stretched both legs out so her feet touched the cold floor of the elevator.
“What time is it already? I’m so thirsty,” Lenny complained in a weak, slightly hoarse voice from the lack of water.
“Eleven, Len. Just hang in there. I’m sure they’ll realize the elevator’s stuck,” Edwin said, wiping sweat from his forehead. Then he sat down next to her, their shoulders almost touching. The elevator was filled with the scent of Lenny’s sweat mixed with the perfume still clinging to her skin. Edwin’s eyes accidentally drifted to the wet white T-shirt that clearly showed the shape of her thin white bra and the curves of her full breasts. The zipper on her shorts had slipped open a little, revealing the top of her thigh. His cock stiffened inside his pants while his heart started beating faster.
“You know… my guy friends like to tease me. They say I’m curvy or sometimes they go on and on about…” Lenny started talking just to kill the boredom.
“You are pretty, Len. Especially your body… yeah, that,” Edwin praised her while looking away, though he still kept glancing at the curves of her breasts.
Three hours later they were still stuck inside the elevator with no sign of help. Lenny was getting sleepy. She leaned against Edwin’s shoulder, her long hair spilling over his arm. Her warm breath brushed against the skin of his neck. Her full breasts rose and fell slowly until they brushed against his arm. Her butt—not too big but rounded—shifted without her realizing it until it pressed against Edwin’s leg.
“Gulp.” Edwin swallowed hard. His heart was pounding all over the place. Sweat poured down even though he tried to hold it back. The smell of Lenny’s sweat and perfume made his blood boil. He remembered how spoiled she’d always been with him since they were kids, even though they weren’t blood siblings. Now she was grown up and her body had filled out. Edwin clenched his fists. He couldn’t hold it in any longer.
“Len, sorry… I can’t take it anymore,” Edwin said in a hoarse voice as he grabbed her soft arm. Lenny’s eyes opened in surprise even though she was still weak.
To be continued…
