Chapter 30-31 - It is approached by Classmates

Chapter 30 – It stole Amy’s breath

“Thia, is it alright if I just sit here and hold you for the whole rest of the night?”

“It relents.”

"...Yeah, I know you don’t—wait, what? Really? It's okay? Really?”

“Correct.”

“Who are you and what have you done with my Thia?”

“It is It. It has not interacted with Thia.”

“Hah?”

“It explains the original premise: It’s summoner predicted that It would steal Amy’s breath.”

"..."

“Clarify: Amy had Amy’s breath stolen by It.”

"...Meep.”

“Understood. Though unintended, It will pay the Price for theft in the form of being held by Amy.”

"...This night can’t get any better.”

“. . .”

"..."

“It Wants to know what Amy is thinking.”

“I’m not really thinking anything. I’m just really happy right now.”

“Understood.”

“Actually, I just thought about something.”

“It Wants to hear Amy’s thoughts.”

“I’ve actually been meaning to ask this all night. Is that your mom’s brooch, Thia? I feel like I’ve seen it before.”

“Correct.”

"Aww... It’s beautiful, and you look so beautiful wearing it.”

“It’s summoner said that Mom’s brooch was important and that Mom wanted It to be adorned.”

“I think your mom would be really happy if she could see you right now.”

“It accepts the premise. Continue.”

“Now I think I’m just going to keep sitting here and holding you for the rest of the night.”

“Understood.”

“It looks like you have a lot of visitors, though.”

“It accepts the premise. Continue.”

“After everyone else has had a chance to talk with you.”

Chapter 31 – It is approached by Classmates

“It grants Clarity.”

Classmate Chloe: “Thia, your dance was so beautiful! I'm glad you came today and I'm glad I got to see it. Hope you two live a happy life together. Invite me to the wedding, okay?”

“Understood.”

♢♢♢

Classmate Ellie: “Hey, Thia. Sorry I was mean to you. I never really understood you before. But I think after talking to you more and seeing you more... You're not so bad. Try to be more clear with people in the future, okay? You can keep being yourself... but... seriously. Try to be better at making first impressions. Don't make everyone hate you from the start again.”

“Understood.”

♢♢♢

Classmate Alex: “Hey, hey, hey! If it isn't Thing 1 and Thing 2. You guys were beautiful. Good luck out there.”

“Understood.”

♢♢♢

Amy: “Huh? Were you crying? Is everything okay?”

Classmate Hayley: “The two of you are just so precious. I don't know what happened, but my heart was just so full of honey when I saw you two being happy that I just started crying.”

“It offers a handkerchief.”

Classmate Hayley: “Thanks, Thia. I'm just going to sit over here for a minute. Don't mind me if I cry even harder for a while.”

“Understood.”

Amy: “Good girl, Thia. Don't mind the tears. Hayley’s just extra extra happy because of you.”

“Understood.”

♢♢♢

Classmate Darcy: “Hey, Amy. Thia. I just wanted to say... I absolutely despise how much I've had to clean up after you, and how much extra work I've done over the years because of someone. But whatever. You guys look cute together. And we're graduating soon. So I'll let it go. Have a good life. Don't bother other people so much in the future.”

Amy: “Thank you so much, and I'm so, so, so sorry for anything Thia did. I promise it was a misunderstanding. But I know people get really riled up by how Thia speaks, so I'm really, really sorry.”

Classmate Darcy: “It's whatever. Dust in the bucket. Take care. You too, Thia.”

“It offers farewell.”

♢♢♢

Classmate Gabe: “Damn, Wednesday's got moves. Y'all turned the dance floor into Swan Lake. When the queen speaks, who dares to not listen? Sick. As. Hell. Anyway, nice dress. Great moves. You two have a good life. Goodbye forever, probably. Unless you get married. Then invite me. I'll be famous by then, but I'll try to make time.”

“Understood.”

Classmate Gabe: “Phewie. Not even denying it. Absolutely fierce. Looking forward to the invite, lovebirds. Peace.”

♢♢♢

Classmate Ian: “Well if it isn't Penn and Teller, working magic on the crowd. Igudesman and Joo the way you're plucking strings. Heart strings.”

“Are these people important to It?”

Classmate Ian: “Nah, probably not. But they should be. Straightman duo legends.”

“Understood.”

Classmate Ian: “Love it. Music to my ears. You’re going to be a legend, too. The absolute straightest of Straightmen to ever exist.”

“It is not a man.”

Classmate Ian: “That's what I like to hear. Anyway, absolutely stunner. Stay straight. Stay ice cold. Even though you two're for sure gay as hell, and have the absolute hots for each other.”

“Understood.”

Classmate Ian: “Ice bucket cold. Send me an invite when you put a ring on ‘It’.”

♢♢♢

Amy: “I think that’s probably the last of the well-wishers.”

“It retracts Clarity.”

“That was a lot of people, huh? Was it too overwhelming for you?”

“It does not understand why so many Classmates approached It today.”

“Well, we're graduating soon and this is kind of a big special event. I guess everyone just wanted to say their peace while the mood was right. Since there’s a pretty good chance none of us will ever see each other ever again after.”

“Understood.”

"..."

“. . .”

"..."

“It wonders why Classmates have asked Amy and It for invitations to a Wedding.”

“Hhhhhhhhhhhh..."

“It wonders if Wedding is important to Amy and It?”

“Hkkhhhhh.”

“It is perplexed by such thoughts.”
