Bloodstains

The night felt quiet, even though outside the room the commotion continued nonstop.

Citra, an innocent woman, didn’t understand what was happening to her at that moment; her weak, helpless body simply surrendered to whoever was leading her.

Her eyes were no longer strong enough to take in her surroundings, and her body was in disarray, no longer as composed as before.

Along the hallway, Juita supported Citra, who was staggering badly; Citra was unconscious, babbling incoherently.

Juita no longer felt the exhaustion of hurrying Citra along, her hands carrying two bags at once—her own bag and Citra’s.

Not wanting to leave a trail, she moved stealthily away from the crowd of friends and slipped into the area of the overnight lodging.

As the drug took effect so quickly, Citra’s body grew increasingly lightheaded. Every now and then, she felt like she was going to vomit in the hallway lined with doors bearing sequential numbers in front of her.

When they reached room 033, their steps halted; Juita grew even more determined to shatter Citra’s future, which had already set her heart ablaze.

Citra’s body felt so heavy that Juita was forced to kick the door open with her foot.

She swung her leg with all her might, using the high heels she was wearing to give her an extra boost of power.

“Crash!” The door burst open. The room was quite spacious, complete with the luxurious amenities she’d specially requested.

Juita’s face flushed even more when she saw Daniel already lying limp on the plush bed, with glowing, wavy accents along the bed’s headboard.

“The tiger’s in the cage. What can I do? I’ll just give him some tender meat.” Hahahaha,” Juita whispered to herself as she looked at her drunk friend.

She was clearly pleased that her wicked plan hadn’t gone to waste.

Slowly, careful not to wake Citra, Juita laid Citra’s body right next to Daniel. She lifted Citra’s legs one by one onto the bed after Citra’s body had already settled onto the mattress.

She didn’t forget to hang up Citra’s bag after putting Citra’s phone on silent mode.

Juita hoped the two of them would enjoy the long night without any interruptions from their other friends. Juita was thoroughly satisfied as she fanned herself with a bundle of red bills—a remedy for her exhaustion that night.

“Enjoy yourself, Daniel. Hopefully Citra will also be satisfied experiencing your earthly paradise. See you later, buddy. Bye…!” Juita left slowly after giving Daniel’s body a gentle shake.

She deliberately woke the sleeping Tiger so he could immediately pounce on his prey.

The “tiger” here doesn’t refer to a big cat that loves raw meat, but rather a highly lustful man ready to sleep with the partner beside him.

Daniel, too, felt a calling. After Juita shook his body, it was as if he had been awakened from a dream and transported to paradise.

As Daniel began to wake up—his vision still blurry and the pungent smell of alcohol lingering on his body—he saw, in a daze, the woman he longed for lying beside him.

It felt as if he were looking at the angel he had always longed for.

Daniel gazed at Citra’s beautiful face. When Citra closed her eyes, he saw a tenderness he longed to caress.

There was a clear sense of peace radiating from Citra’s face, which seemed to be beckoning Daniel.

Daniel, who was only half-awake at the time, could no longer contain the surge of his masculine desire.

Daniel drew near Citra’s pink, alluring lips.

Dark clouds outside the room began to cast their gloom, until a heavy downpour drenched the earth, lulling the people lying warmly beneath their pristine white blankets to sleep.

Daniel and Citra did something they shouldn’t have done before the yellow palm fronds had officially sealed the validity of their marriage.

That night, Citra simply surrendered and felt the pleasure of every touch from someone who was clearly not her life partner.

Let alone coming to her senses—she could barely even open her closed eyes. Citra was helpless, entwined in Daniel’s tender embrace.

That long night in the hot bed left a lasting scar on the future Citra had planned with her father.

Early in the morning, Daniel woke up. The bitterly cold air, a remnant of the previous night’s rain, made him keep wrapping his body in the all-white matching sheets.

As he began to gather the strength to get up, Daniel realized he had done something forbidden.

Daniel was startled to find himself bare-chested.

Not wanting to face the consequences, he quickly left the warmth of the bed and took his clothes to the bathroom to get dressed.

Only after he was fully dressed could Daniel convince himself that it wasn’t just a dream.

That night had been a beautiful reality—he’d spent the night with someone he deeply admired. Yet it was also a bitter reality, as it was the first time he’d shared a bed with a woman.

As time marched on, Daniel couldn’t get enough of watching Citra sleep so soundly, but when she stirred, he was startled and didn’t know what to do next.

Daniel covered his mouth with both hands to stifle any sound.

Fortunately, Citra hadn’t woken up yet that morning, but something startled Daniel, causing his eyes to widen in shock.

“That blood? So she…?” His heart whispered that Citra was a good woman—and that he had defiled that innocent girl—after he saw a fresh red bloodstain, slightly spreading across the bed where they had slept the night before.

Since Daniel wasn’t ready for any of this, he quickly grabbed his milk-chocolate-colored jacket and rushed out of the room with a troubled heart.

He was filled with guilt and felt utterly despicable.

Throughout his journey, he felt haunted by guilt.

“That bloodstain? It means the woman who slept with me was still a virgin—how could this be?” he whispered to himself.

He rubbed his bald head, bewildered.

He quickened his pace until he reached the hotel where he’d first arrived.

Daniel packed all his clothes; in a fit of agitation, he called his secretary to postpone all the work he had scheduled.

Daniel moved quickly to pack all his belongings, his mind in complete disarray.

Once he had finished packing, he once again regretted his actions.

His legs felt heavy with each step, and at the same time, they felt incredibly weak.

He bowed his head and prostrated himself on the hotel floor, screaming as loud as he could to release his pent-up frustration.

“Arrrrggghhhhh!”

Crash!

He threw all his belongings onto the floor.

Daniel felt like he was at his lowest point right then.

Tears streamed down a man’s face, revealing his vulnerability.
